Alexander Daniel LLC was formed in 2003 by Dan Kalen after starting his career in 2001 as a business broker with a large midwestern brokerage firm. Dan named his company after his oldest son who is currently a freshman in college. Our new office in Mission was opened in November of 2010. Dan has developed a reputation as very thorough and competent business intermediary and has successfully sold over 70 businesses in the last 10 years.
Dan is a lifetime resident of Kansas City, graduate of Baker University and has served in several executive sales positions prior to becoming a business broker. Dan comes from a family that has always been committed to the Kansas City community and he has been actively involved with many business and philanthropic
endeavors. Mr. Kalen has contributed time and resources to several philanthropic
organizations including the Heart of America United Way, Operation Breakthrough, The Special Olympics, The Boy Scouts of America and First Call, to name a few.
